It's Still Early in the Season

~ forget-me-nots in early April ~
It's hard to believe the month of April is already half done - there's so much to do, so much that has happened & I feel like I'm already falling behind!

But it's still early in the season...

I am headed out today to work on 'Operation Deer Fence Installation' with the hubby - we finally have 2 days off together & it's not pouring rain. I hope we are able to accomplish many things today & make notable progress as I have so many plants in pots that I need to put in the ground!

But spring is such a wonderful time of year, so I will make sure to take my camera out with me & catch up on photos. I want to show you my mason bees & my new berry plants & my horseradish & and-and-and.... I have a list a mile long.

Some lessons are hard learned - I need to re-learn them many times each season. As in my kale plants. I have reseeded them twice & the bugs have eaten them both times. I will now seed them in pots in the greenhouse & transplant them when they are larger - will have to create a collar system for them too - probably something sturdier than the toilet paper rolls I'm currently experimenting with on my peas (reseeded 3 times this year due to bugs). See - it's still early in the season & maybe I'm just too eager....
